More success for Keziah

Kent Rhythmic gymnast Keziah Gore, made a big international breakthrough representing GB by winning the Team Bronze medal at the Australian Youth Olymics Festival recently.

Keziah was among three British gymnasts who qualified for the Individual All-around Final and finished in second position (following the Chinese Baobao Dou).

The Gold medals went to China, 155.875 and the Silver, to the Australian A Team, 155.300. The British Bronze winning total was 153.350. Gymnasts from New Zealand and Malaysia also compete in Sydney.

Keziah Gore's Ball routine was rewarded with a record high score of 15.275, the highest a British Junior gymnast has ever achieved home or abroad.

"I am absolutely thrilled about this timely break through and hope that all our girls will show their best in the Final. Their achievement in the first round of the competition has proven them that hard work always pays off, and I am sure it will inspire them to continue with improved self-confidence.

As for Keziah's Ball routine in the Qualifications, I can use one word only- Outstanding!", said the British National Coach Nadya Alexandrova.
